Sometimes things are so easy to do that we do not realize
how important they are. Many things that
are simple have more value than we realize.
This is so true of just being cheerful with others. It does not take much effort to be kind.
If we make eye contact and smile it can make someone’s day
better. If we speak politely and
cheerfully it can enhance someone’s work day.
We cannot always be happy but that does not prevent us from being kind
and cheerful toward others.
An interesting byproduct of this is that it enhances the
mood of the one giving out the cheer.
