Second Thoughts – Joy and Beauty

Greetings Dear Reader,

Sometimes I will end the day with thoughts that are important to get out.  Usually I just write them and put them in my journal folder.  I have chosen that on occasion I will share them with you Dear Reader.

The weather, the wind, and warmth all were in harmony today.  The Bride was radiant from the shine in her fairuza eyes to the glow of her porcelain skin.  The groom was humble and had tears in his eyes.  The love that kindled in them both warmed the slight chill in the autumn air for us all.

As they spoke their anyone watching could see that they were there for each other not for themselves.  As they exchanged rings they both could not keep from gazing so deeply into the other’s eyes, heart, and soul.  The love there echoed the first love spoken by the Father to his first man and woman.

As Heather and Darnell joined their lives today I was reminded of the great wedding yet to come.  The wedding is the symbol that Christ chose to symbolize the ultimate reclamation of his people.  Their forever vows were shadows of his forever vows to us.  This couple reminded me of the love that we can all have in Christ if we are willing.

I was honored to be a part of this wedding.  I love them both dearly and am better for having been there.  Thank you Heather and Darnell for including me.

The Wedding – Michael Card

Lord of light, oh, come to this wedding
Take the doubt and darkness away
Turn the water of lifeless living
To the wine of gladness we pray

Mother Mary's gently requesting
That you might do whatever you can
Though she may be impatient she loves you
And so she asks what she can't understand

Lord of light, oh, come to this wedding
Take the doubt and darkness away
Turn the water of lifeless living
To the wine of gladness we pray

So amidst the laughter and feasting
There sits Jesus full with the fun
He has made them wine because He is longing
For a wedding that's yet to come

Lord of light, oh, come to this wedding
Take the doubt and darkness away
Turn the water of lifeless living
To the wine of gladness we pray

Wishing you joy in the journey,

Aramis Thorn
Mat 13:52 So Jesus said to them, "That is why every writer who has become a disciple of Christ’s rule of the universe is like a home owner. He liberally hands out new and old things from his great treasure store.”
