Second Thoughts ~ October Options

Greetings Dear Reader,

As I have begun to all out pursue gaining my living from my writing I have put some things in place that might interest you.

The first is that I have set up a Patreon page so that those who have expressed a wish to or those who do wish to can support my efforts.  The patron amounts go from $3.00 to $1000.00 (if you sign up for the $1000 one I will come thank you face to face wherever you are.).  Patreon Page: www.patreon.com/aramisthorn

If all of my blog readers signed up for the $3.00 option I could meet all of my obligations and put out two books per year.  There are also rewards for the upper tier options.  Please consider supporting me even if it is just because you like my BLOG.  I have also set up support goals that will benefit all my patrons should I reach them.

Even if you do not want to support me in this way, please consider sharing my link to the page on your social media pages.  Even that exposure would be very helpful.  As always Dear Reader, I will continue to write and work on following no matter what.  Your presence is precious to me no matter even if you are silent.

Second Thoughts ~ Monthly Marketing Moment

Greetings Dear Reader,

Christmas novels must be
written before Christmas 

Someone told me recently that I should not call this a “marketing moment” because people will not read it.  I am choosing to be open about it because I do not desire to “trick” anyone into reading my marketing posts.  I also owe it to those who support me to be accountable for my promise to work harder to market my work.

If you stop here Dear Reader, I will not be offended.  Here is an update and my marketing needs:

The Twelve Tales of Christmas is complete and being edited.  Cover design is in progress and should be complete by the end of June. 

Magi: The Gift Bearers will be complete by the end of June if things stay on pace.  Cover design for it will be complete by the end of July.

I hope to have both to the publisher by the end of August.

Monthly Marketing

A Little Shameless Advertising if you Please

Greetings Dear Reader,

I have promised my publisher and my publicist that I would regularly ask for my readers to support my work.  This is not a plea for donations nor is it an act of ingratitude.   My thinking is that you may not know the best ways to support my writing.  I am going to offer three suggestions and only one of them costs money.

As most of you know I write books.  You can find my Amazon Author’s Page HERE.   If you read my BLOG and enjoy it I would ask you to consider purchasing my books.  They make great gifts and if you wish we can arrange to have them signed.  There may be some gift giving you need to do in the not too distant future. 

Another way you can help Dear Reader is to share my BLOG posts on your page.  If you like something you read feel free to post is from my BLOG aramisthorn.blogspot.com.   You can also follow me on this page and you will get notification of my posts.   If you do follow and have your own writing, I will follow back so that you get some reciprocal publicity.   

A third way you can help is to write book reviews on my books if you have read them.  You can do this on Amazon or any place you find my books for sale.  If I can get to fifty reviews on any one title that title rises in the search pool for Amazon.
