When Paul left Ephesus he made it clear that he believed he
would never see them again. He reminded
them of all he had taught them and that there would be detractors about those
teachings.
We must remember that the Gospel and ministry do not belong
to us. We all have a shelf life. We must prepare those we will leave behind to
be Christ followers who only follow Christ.
We are not what others should follow.
It is not me that matters it is Christ.
Jesus’ cousin said of him, “He must increase and I must
decrease.” This must also be true of
me. It really is that simple.
Wishing you joy in the journey,

Mat 13:52 So Jesus said to them, "That is why every writer
who has become a disciple of Christ’s rule of the universe is like a home
owner. He liberally hands out new and old things from his great treasure
store."
