Minstrels in the Gallery – More Pat Terry

Greetings Dear Reader,

I do not wish for a moment to force my faith on anyone.  I think it is a great lie that faith is only a personal private thing.  My beliefs are very personal but they are also universal.  What I mean is that what I believe is that everyone needs Jesus.

How a express that belief is what matters.  I think that the right way is to live what Christ commands us to live and when given the opportunity give him the credit.  If I am honest, I always have an “ulterior” motive.  It is that I want to tell you the truth about Jesus.

My life has a pattern of telling people when I find a great restaurant, vendor, or product.  If I truly believe that what Jesus has to offer is what is best for everyone why would I not want to tell you.  After all, Jesus commands us to do so.  He insists that we do it by being good to others but he still insists.

If I had the cure to cancer and kept it to myself you would think me vile and reprehensible.  I believe unashamedly that Jesus is the cure to everything.  I will never preach at you or demand that you see this.  I just want you to have the great thing that I have.

Oh, and don’t think that the truth of what I believe prevents me to from failing, struggling, and being and outright jerk.  I am just trying to follow Christ more closely so that I earn the right to talk about him.

This morning this song was dancing through my head so here it is. I really do want to tell you about Jesus.

I’ve been wanting to tell you about man who made me happy
And I’ve been wanting to tell you about man who changed my life
Changed my mind
Showed me that peace wasn’t hard to find

I’ve been wanting to tell you
I’ve been wanting to tell you
I’ve been wanting to tell you about Jesus

I’ve been wanting to tell you about man who made me happy
And I’ve been wanting to tell you about man who saved my life
Set me free
He gave me life eternally

I’ve been wanting to tell you
I’ve been wanting to tell you
I’ve been wanting to tell you about Jesus
Whoa about Jesus

Well let me tell you about Jesus
He’s got the answer
Well let me tell you about Jesus
He’s got the answer
He’s got the answer
He is the answer

I’ve been wanting to tell you about man who made me happy
And I’ve been wanting to tell you about man who changed my life
Changed my mind
Showed me that peace wasn’t hard to find

I’ve been wanting to tell you
I’ve been wanting to tell you
I’ve been wanting to tell you about Jesus
Whoa about Jesus

Wishing you joy in the journey,

Aramis Thorn

Mat 13:52 So Jesus said to them, "That is why every writer who has become a disciple of Christ’s rule of the universe is like a home owner. He liberally hands out new and old things from his great treasure store."
