Mica Man – Infinite Layers

Greetings Dear Reader,

I said yesterday that I must allow Christ to see all my layers.  In truth he already does.  I cannot hide anything from God.  A more accurate way to say it is to admit to all the layers that I have and yield them all to Christ.

The reason that Christ can identify and understand all of my layers is because of his infinite layers.  If I hope to be freed at every level I must acknowledge the ability of Christ to understand all of those layers.

It is knowing that someone knows me better than even I know myself that can give me the courage to delve into the many layers.  If I am to live a life pleasing to God then all of me must yielded to Christ.  Every layer, every doubt, every hope, and every moment must be his.

I must confess that I do not always know how to do this.  I suppose that it begins with believing that Christ can and will do this in me.  Then it is a process of moment by moment choosing to yield each layer as it is revealed.  It is choosing to follow no matter how painful the path seems in the moment.

If I seek to know the infinite layers of Christ then he will show me how to yield the layers of who I am to him.  He must daily become my entire fulfillment and felicity.
