Greetings Dear Reader,
Jesus made it clear to us that he was the living Word of
God. We use so many words that are not
loving or necessary. When God wanted to
communicate his love to us he sent Jesus as the living Word.
Communication is the foundation of all that we do to
interact as people. Our primary vehicle
for that is the use of words. When we
use words that are true but offensive in love we are never wrong. Words like sin and accountability are
necessary but never to be used to bludgeon others.
I am only to use them from a position of love and compassion
for those still trapped in a life without Christ. Too often we use words as weapons that are
the same words that apply to our own guilt before God. We have power, authority, and words. We are only to use them from a position of
humility born of commonality.
We must use unpopular words at time but only to communicate
to others their need for Jesus. I can
only do this once I have earned the right to be heard by using my actions, my
heart, and yes my words in a way that reflects Christ.
Wishing you joy in the journey,
Aramis Thorn
Mat 13:52 So Jesus said to them, "That is why every writer
who has become a disciple of Christ’s rule of the universe is like a home
owner. He liberally hands out new and old things from his great treasure
store."
