Greetings Dear Reader,
In the journey of learning to be lovingly unoffendable, one must
become aware of what causes us to take up offenses. The process and pattern of thinking through
this allows one to see that there is a way to be well-armed against being
offended. Interestingly, it springs from
the ideas of love and compassion.
Much of what people are discussing during this current distress
relates to their fear. We overreact to
things based on our fears. We worry about
not having enough toilet paper so we buy a year’s supply. We hoard things out of fear of not
having. We make life-changing decisions
based on what worries us.
The process of fear is one that drives us far more than is
healthy. I think that we can learn to
mitigate fear before it gets into the decision-making process. I think that our ills can be lightened and
even avoided if we learn what calls our fear and how we answer it.
Where does fear get lease with us? How do we allow fear to control our thinking? What is the product of our fear? What can destroy it at every turn? I would ask you to journey through this
thinking with me, Dear Reader. Together
we can learn how to mitigate fear and take its voice from our thinking.
Please journey with me sharing your thoughts and questions. I am always enriched by your inquiries and
insights. Further, your company brings
me joy and pushes me to be a better man.
Wishing you joy in the journey,
