Happy Christmas Dear Reader,
“Let go of the problem you cannot solve; enjoy the season.”
Our burdens and problems do not take a holiday. They are there nipping at our heals and
troubling our minds daily. They clamor
to steel our thoughts and good nature. Like
sirens the seek to dash our spirits against the rocks.
We can choose to accept what we cannot change. Whether it is a great need or trying malady
we can choose to see past it to the joy and peace possible in Christ. We can set aside worry and continue to do our
best.
Whether it is money, health, family or any other ills if we cannot solve the problem we only make things worse by worrying about them. We rob our lives and our friends of joy by dwelling upon them.
The joy is in the blessings we do have. It is knowing that what we celebrate is that
all problems come to pass and not to stay.
They are as fleeting as the season.
We must adjust our perspective. The
joy is in seeing all that is possible in this season. It is in realizing that the babe in the
manger is also the King who comes to make all things good.
Wishing you joy in the journey,
Aramis Thorn
Mat 13:52 So Jesus said to them, "That is why every writer
who has become a disciple of Christ’s rule of the universe is like a home
owner. He liberally hands out new and old things from his great treasure
store.”
