Happy Christmas Dear Reader,
“Give someone who is discouraged the gift of encouragement.”
How often do we have this opportunity? I would say at the minimum it is daily. We have the chance to show kindness by
bolster the spirit of another human. These
opportunities are there if we look for them.
It is so easy to just have kind words for everyone. I am not saying platitudes or empty offering
of politically correct greetings. I am
suggesting that we be aware of others and find ways to show them that they are
visible and valued. It is in the act of
seeing that someone is not encouraged and giving them this gift.
This costs us nothing but time and attention. It has the potential to change lives. That is true encouragement. That is Christmas joy.
Wishing you joy in the journey,
Aramis Thorn
Mat 13:52 So Jesus said to them, "That is why every writer
who has become a disciple of Christ’s rule of the universe is like a home
owner. He liberally hands out new and old things from his great treasure
store.”
