Carrying Christmas in my Heart ~ A Tide of Tidings

Happy Christmas Dear Reader,

I was having a conversation with someone yesterday.  I had good news to share and it impacted this person in a positive way.  For every positive point that I expressed in getting to the big thing, this person had a negative tangent to pursue.

As I quietly, lovingly battled my way toward the good news, I realized that part of carrying Christmas always is that the angels heralding the birth herald the eventual death of all negative things.  As I attempted to bring in the tide good tidings, it occurred to me that the good is inevitable.  Like the sea, the return to good is coming.  The Advent of Christ is the turn of the tide.

We are inundated with good tidings of great joy.  These words are intended for everyone.  They are to remind us that no matter how dark it is, there is light to lead us home.  No matter how bad things get, the tide of good is marching slowly, irrevocably in toward shore.  As I mentioned earlier in the month, there will come a day when we get to celebrate Christmas always.

We will always encounter those who have a problem for every solution.  We can, however, carry with us that Spirit which gives us the love to cloak us from all negativity.  We can be the force that crushes the negative with love.  We think we cannot sustain it.  If we make sure that the Spirit of Christmas is our source, we will not run out of hope, joy, and love to share.

When we hear tidings of good things, we can add them to the building volume of the incoming tide.  We can build a legacy of seeing the waves of good inching their way up the beach.  Dear Reader, there is no escaping the negative that wishes to destroy our good nature.  We can choose to hold it to the last and give others a place to stand with us as the tide rolls in for good.  You are always free to stand with me, Dear Reader.

Wishing you joy in the journey,
